the item itself is so weird they think you are lying.
Except not. An arnold schwarzenegger cake with "Don't skip leg day" on it just isn't something Tracy Morgan would pull out of thin air creatively. It's not his wheelhouse, so I - and I'm pretty sure Jimmy - would know right away it was the truth. You could tell Jimmy knew it wasn't a lie but he said lie anyway; Jimmy isn't really great at acting.

I've also noticed that if Jimmy's lying he's usually not laughing. If he's laughing he's telling the truth.

I don’t think Tracy Morgan understood the game! 🙈. I think he thought he literally had to describe what is in front of thim LOL. It’s either that, or he could not make anything up that is relatively creative in that timespan. After him pronouncing “soul“ as “Sal”, anything is possible… 🤷🏻♂️🤣😂. He is not easy to figure out, you can’t tell if he literally is a little slow mentally or that is just his character! LMAO. I still love him, even though he plays the same exact character and every single thing he does.

lol love him, but I’m not sure he understood right away what the game is, because in the first round when he got the drink out, he said: “So what, I need to describe it to you?” Jimmy said “yes” and then Tracy went ahead and described it. Only in the second round he understood what was happening haha

Nah cuz then it looks like it was planned. It’s also a way to get the audience involved as they can scream out many different numbers. Also they can just reuse the same ideas that didn’t get chosen the first time.
I'm sure they reuse the items when they're not chosen.
Usually they pick 4 or 5, so 9 boxes display is justified.
